Recently we were lucky enough to design a website for a very special property lhidden away in a spectacular corner of Northumberland. Lorbottle Hall is a quintessential country home from the outside, standing in its own grounds and built from traditional Northumbrian sandstone.
However, inside it is something of a surprise. Yes, it has all the space and grandeur of a grand country house – but this isn’t any old country house. Lorbottle Hall was once the home of the fashion designer Jean Muir and retains the originally commissioned artwork painted on silk backgrounds which wrap the walls of the impressive dining room.
Available as a very special bed & breakfast as well as a location for business meetings, family unwindings, accommodation for shooting parties and even a unique location for film and photographic shoots, Lorbottle Hall is a truly special property.
