Which brings us neatly onto Stay at Scott’s Abbotsford.
The Hope Scott Wing is very much a living museum that offers a true to life insight into the man himself and can be, exclusively, all yours (for reasonable price). For many years the Hope Scott Wing was one of Scotland’s best kept secrets - so much so that it just wasn’t being appreciated enough!
We were tasked with developing a stand alone website that would raise awareness, and bookings, of Abbotsford’s unique accommodation packages. Featuring many of our internal photos, to help set the scene, the site is integrated with Supercontrol which is an online booking system showing you current availability and prices for your next anniversary, wedding, birthday or christening celebration.
For the 250th anniversary of Scott’s birth, the Abbotsford Trust launched Walter Scott 250 - a website dedicated to promoting Sir Walter Scott’s life and legacy through events and activities that will take place around Scotland in 2021/2022.
We were again approached, and more than happy, to develop a new website that offers a deeper understanding and accessibility to the man and his work. With limitless event partners needing to access the site to upload their details and events a bomb-proof bespoke CMS needed to be designed and developed from scratch.
Witch Corner was a new, interactive outdoor space around the woods and parks of Abbotsford. Targeted at kids, but we've seen plenty of oldies having a whale of a time around it too!
This magical space was developed around the subjects of Borders folklore and witchcraft which were very dear to Sir Walter and remained a passion throughout his life. We built the promotional website to give a flavour of the attraction and the tools to allow the in-house team to manage crucial areas such as activities, tickets and opening times.
